
Even only looking at Ski Dubai from large observation tower one can easily be stunned by the size, complexity and technical advance of entrepreneurship
to bring the snow to the middle of the desert. And the snow is real. The snow cannons work continuously converting the pure water to the snow of initial temperature -8°C, and
23 blast coolers ( air-conditioners) mantain air temperature at level between -1°C and -2°C.
25 stores high the biggest refrigerator in the world features 5 runs of different height and difficulty, there are gentle slopes for the beginners, and the only ‘black’ run that is completely indoors,400 meters long with level difference more than 60 metres.
Dubai Ski has the total snow covered surface of 22,500m², where 3,000m² belong to area of Snow Park with a snow cavern.
The slopes are prepared for downhill skiing, but also for tobogganing and snowboard, with 90 m long pipe.
There is bob ride, the place for ’snow fights’ and Snow School instructors can take care for the beginners.
There are two cafes here:
St. Moritz Cafe near the entrance, which looks as it is taken directly from Alpine slopes in Switzerland
Avalanche Cafe located in the middle of the slopes with view to the whole ski area.
30 t of pure snow are made everyday expecting to host up to 1 500 guests,which don’t have to bring their own equipment.
The rental of quality equipment and clothing are included in the ticket price, but no hats and gloves due to health reason.
There is a possibility to purchase caps and gloves on spot in Snow Pro shop, which also sells exclusive ski equipment.

The last tickets are sold 1,5 h before closing time.
During week-ends it is better to have a reservation as the place is popular among both local and tourists.
